For those of you unable to watch animals be hurt,I went to pains taking steps and spent vast hours of my time,to transcribe in an easy to read format, the movie Earthlings for you to read the important message Joaquin Phoenix wants you to hear.I wish you could force yourself, and close your eyes,as it loses much when you do not hear him speak. Since he made the movie, that he calls the most important work he has ever done,I believe it came out in 2010,things have become drastically worse. The bees are almost gone,we have driven almost all of the Animal Kingdom into extinction, and the ecosystem, the flora and fauna that we MUST have as well as the bees,is in peril. Without them we all die. This is for ALL people to be gravely concerned. The scientists say that by the year 2025,the oceans will be empty. When the last bee falls,we will all perish,as the flora and fauna that give us the air we breathe, food, water, die,we have doomed all life, including our own.
This is no longer in the hands of ARA's,Conservationists, like ourselves. This is no longer something we can leave in the hands of our leaders in government. They have failed us,which is our own fault for not paying attention, and believing people we knew had much to gain, and even when we know what they are,we still let them lead us towards death. This is something that ALL people must take a stand on,must educate themselves and learn how to stop the planet from dying. We must learn how to speak to the lawmakers across the globe, and demand they do their jobs, and stop this, and let us all defend our planet from those that for the sheer sake of greed, mental defect, and personal gain -power do not care that they are killing all life.
It is not only an animal rights issue, that is grave enough, and it is all some ARA's think,as they like so many do not see the whole big picture. It is a human rights issue now,as well, and it is on red alert. It is time to make the connection, and change how we think. No longer can we sit idly by and assume that someone else is going to safe guard this planet. That is what got us here.
They have sold us a lie, they said it was propaganda, and they lied,so they could gain wealth and power, and you can clearly see that, when you see the changes in our
planets ecosystem. We are not hysterics,we are afraid,because...
We are running out of time. I hope that you can bring yourselves to watch Earthlings but if you cannot, spend some time reading this.Learn all you can from every resource available to you,and then take affirmative action.
Thank you for your bravery and your service.

"Isn’t it enough that animals the world over live in permanent retreat from human progress and expansion? And for many species, there is simply nowhere else to go. It seems the fate of many
animals is either to be unwanted by man... or wanted too much.
We enter as Lords of the Earth, bearing strange powers of terror and mercy alike … but human-beings should love animals as the knowing love the innocent, and the strong love the vulnerable.
When we wince at the suffering of animals, that feeling speaks well of us even when we ignore it, and those who dismiss love for our fellow creatures as mere sentimentality overlook a good and important part of our humanity.
But it takes nothing away from a human to be kind to an animal. And it is actually within us to grant them a happy life and a long one.
On the heath, King Lear asked Gloucester: “How do you see the world?”
And Gloucester, who is blind, answered: “I see it feelingly.”
I see it feelingly.
Three primary life forces exist on this planet: Nature, Animals and Humankind. We are all the Earthlings. Make the connection."
YES BLM WAS WRONG TO TAKE THE STAGE THE WAY THEY DID. BERNIE SANDERS IS FIGHTING FOR THEM, HE ALWAYS HAS. HE FIGHTS FOR ALL MINORITIES, WOMEN, THE POOR CHILDREN, HOMOSEXUALS, AND HE STILL MANAGES TO FIGHT FOR WHITE PEOPLE. HE JUST WANTS EVERY ONE TO HAVE THE SAME OPPORTUNITIES. HE HAS DONE SO SINCE HIGH SCHOOL.
HOWEVER!! I have some issue with every one jumping on this BLACKLIVESMATTER band wagon, so now we saw ALL LIVES MATTER, now MILITARY LIVES MATTER. Can people think of something original rather
than trying to get all defensive and it is almost like you are taking something away from people again? Does that make sense? You are taking away the validation that they have sought, AGAIN. We know
ALL lives matter. That is not the point. They are making a statement of their own because of some of the irrefutable racist acts against them as a diverse people. And every one is really irritating
me with all this. So do I now get to say, ANIMAL LIVES MATTER and hashtag that baby and jump on the lives matter campaign/protest? I think I can come up with our own thing and we do. We not try to
diminish theirs. I know some don't mean it. To diminish them, but some really really are. It shows your true nature really, that you feel defensive, threatened, and cannot see that there are
some wrongs that still need to be righted. There is injustice for them, specifically. Just as there are for many. A long history of mankind hurting mankind, how about since I am 1/4 cherokee I shout
INDIANLIVESMATTER. Or how about JEWISHLIVESMATTER? GAYLIVESMATTER!!! Ok Ya get it? There is no need to take away from others. They know that other lives matter, but they feel that people do not think
theirs does. And all people do, is diminish and invalidate that when people do this. Maybe if people didn't TAKE their validation away they would not have taken the stage from Bernie Sanders who
marched with Dr. King so very rudely and has fought for others since he was in high school, if that was them. **sigh**
This is really amazing, pretty entertaining & cool video my son posted. It's pretty important.
I Love You Beautifuls And hey I am gonna hashtag you guys in particular over there at #onlyblacklivesmattery big buttheads. KNOCK IT OFF!!
Animal rights are benefits people give to animals. Benefits include the right of protection from human use and abuse and rights can take moral, legal and practical forms. People who support animal rights believe that animals are not ours to use as we wish, for whatever purpose, be it for food, clothing, experimentation or entertainment. Animal rights supporters also believe that we should consider the best interests of animals regardless of whatever value the animals may have for us
Rights are usually contracted between a country's government and its citizens, like the right to vote, the right to fair trial and the right to free speech, and vary from country to country. Many states make utterances about giving their citizens rights but do not fully grant them.
Being active for animal rights you are campaigning to change society by persuading and motivating people to act for the better, as you see it. You need to know what you want to achieve, how to do it, a will to act and drive to keep you going
Animal rights overlaps with animal welfare. But although both outlooks share similarities they have
important differences that set them apart and make them conflicting philosophies, Animal rightists often disparage of animal welfare because the two philosophies are worlds apart in important respects. An important difference in the practice of animal rights and animal welfare is that one is subjective and the other is objective. We cannot measure animal rights impartially or scientifically. It is a concept and a personal moral choice.
1. Animal Rights Basis
- know what animal rights are.
2. Equal Consideration
- are animal and human moral interests equally important?
3. Animal Ethics
- rationally defend your animal rights activism.
4. Consequentialism & Animal Rights
- the morality of your action depends only on its consequences.
5. Deontology & Animal Rights
- the morality of your action depends only on doing your duty.
6. Virtue Ethics & Animal Rights
- the morality of your action depends only on your character.
7. Comparing Animal Philosophies
- comparing animal rights with ethics, welfare & conservation.
8. Deep Ecology and Animal Rights
- contrasts with animal rights and gives it perspective.
The Five Freedoms were first proposed in Britain in the 1960's. The Farm Animal Welfare Council,
established by the British government in the late 1970's to advise it on legislative and other changes
for farm animals, subsequently affirmed them. The Council was conservatively made up of individuals with connections to agriculture: farmers, animal farming company directors, veterinary surgeons and
academics specialising in agriculture. Other bodies concerned with animal welfare have approved the Freedoms.
The Five Freedoms are:
1. Freedom from Hunger and Thirst - by ready access to fresh water and a diet to
maintain full health and vigour.
2. Freedom from Discomfort - by providing an appropriate environment including shelter
and a comfortable resting area.
3. Freedom from Pain, Injury or Disease - by prevention or rapid diagnosis and
4. Freedom to Express Normal Behaviour - by providing sufficient space, proper
facilities and company of the animal's own kind
5. Freedom from Fear and Distress - by ensuring conditions and treatment which avoid mental suffering.
The Farm Animal Welfare Council say the Five Freedoms are a framework for viewing and improving
animal welfare "within the proper constraints of an effective livestock industry." The Council stress that
well trained and supervised stockmanship is the key to farm animal welfare: "...without competent,
diligent stockmanship the welfare of animals cannot be adequately safeguarded."
However, the Five Freedoms are not inevitably applied and are more honoured in the breach. How
much animal farming and stockmanship concede towards applying the Five Freedoms to animals is
demonstrated by the realities of factory farming, such as the chicken and egg industry; nor are the
Five Freedoms widely applied to animals farmed for their fur.
The Five Freedoms are basic ideals of welfare for farm animals, like livestock and poultry, wherever
the animals may be, such as at farms, markets, slaughterhouses, or in transit, and should be applied
by anyone in charge of the animals or handling them. The Freedoms make good common sense and
are broad enough to apply to all farm animals, and indeed any animals, anywhere in the world
